You’ll make a real game in one weekend at the same time as thousands of teens in 200+ cities. Never made a game? The Jumpstart workshop walks you through your first one.

This is your chance to learn something new, meet new friends, and go on an incredible adventure together!

Here is how you can join a game jam this November!

(Don't worry, we'll guide you through each step)

What happens on the day?

Almost ready! Saturday starts with the Jumpstart workshop, where everyone builds a first playable game in Godot. Then you keep improving it all weekend, and on Sunday we open the Arcade: everyone plays everyone's games. No stage, no pitching. • Am I eligible?

If you’re 13-18 and can get to Tashkent on Nov 14–15, you’re eligible! No prior experience required.

  • But I’ve never coded before!

Perfect! The weekend opens with the Jumpstart workshop, where you build your first game step by step in Godot, and mentors from Alif are there to help the whole time.

  • What should I bring?

A laptop and its charger, headphones, and some energy. No laptop? Message us on Telegram before the event and we’ll try to sort something out.

  • Do I need a team?

No. Come alone or bring friends. You can team up on the day or make a game by yourself.

  • What if my parents are concerned?

We’re here to help! They can read the parent guide or email the Tashkent team at tashkent@haven.hackclub.com. Adult supervisors are on site the whole weekend.

  • Is this free?

Yes, completely. Food, drinks, workshops and prizes are all free. Hack Club is a nonprofit, and our local sponsors cover the rest.

  • Where is it?

In Tashkent. We’re confirming the venue now and will email everyone who signs up as soon as it’s final. You’ll also see it first on our Telegram channel.

  • What language is it in?

Uzbek, Russian and English. Organizers and mentors speak all three, so ask for help in whichever you’re comfortable with.

  • What happens at the end?

On Sunday we turn the room into an Arcade where everyone plays everyone’s games. There are prizes, and every participant gets a certificate.
